picking a path: forward is better than optimal
Thrashing is always worse than choosing a path and moving forward.
There’s danger in indecision—the opportunity cost of switching between options instead of making progress on one.
Often, the optimal move is simply to move. Not to wait for the “best” decision.
This is especially true when you lack the data to choose perfectly. Or worse—when you don’t even know what you want.
When clarity is absent, forward motion beats perfect alignment.
Pick a path. Walk it.
Adjust later if you must—but don’t stand still.
