the bag stays packed

One of the best things I've done for myself recently: keep a travel go bag.

A pre-packed suitcase with everything I need for a week. Same clothes every trip—no decisions, no scrambling the night before. It has a single purpose and a single place. It doesn't get used for anything else.

When I get home, I wash everything and put it right back. Ready to go again.

Traveling once or twice a month for work, this has been an incredible way to de-stress the whole process. The bag is always ready, so I don't have to be. I just grab it and go.

Sometimes the biggest wins come from removing recurring friction—not solving problems, but making them disappear entirely.
