What is a good life?

Big question, but I've got a simple musing on it, a pseudo-answer.

A good life is one spent in places we love. I want to spend most of my days by warm, sunny beaches.

I've been thinking about where I want to live a lot these days. Warmth and sunshine have been top priorities — I find myself happier and more energized on warm sunny days. Spending too much time inside or in uninspiring weather... well, it gets to me.

I am exploring ways to spend more and more days in places I love. With my van, I'm able to set up shop by a beautiful ocean and have a full view of the sand and water. I can even get my work done — this is by far my favorite office setup.

When I want to take a break, I just lock up the van and take a walk along the beach. Does it get any better?

Having a van to travel around in has been a dream of mine for years. It's hard to believe this dream has materialized. No, my life is not without its problems (significant ones at that), but this aspect, this moment — I am deeply grateful for it.

Having a dream come true is a remarkable feeling. I guess this is what living the dream means.
