savor the chapter you’re in
A simple axiom lands harder when a friend says it at the right moment:
everything is a chapter.
This one included.
Last year I was freelancing—lots of flexibility, running around, playing music.
Now I’m working harder than I ever have at a startup. Late nights. Fully immersed.
Waking up with work thoughts already in motion.
A version of me would’ve sworn this phase wasn’t in the cards. Yet here we are.
And even inside this micro-chapter of work, it keeps shifting: week to week, day to day.
Maybe it gets lighter. Maybe I enjoy it more. Maybe less.
Either way, it changes. Everything does.
Zoom in and there are subchapters—hours, moments, seconds—each one beginning and ending.
The practice is to notice them while they’re here. Not rush past. Not grip too tight.
This is the invitation:
show up fully for the page we're on, then turn it when it’s time.
